lynn's bdae celeb!
we went out on sunday, 28 sept, 20 days after her actual bdae and the day of the first F1 night race.
(early)lynn reached first! (on time)me second! (late by 2 min)ly third!
(late by 15 mins)torsai fourth! and mar and aman are out of rankingxP
walked into this super cheap shop and checked out some prom-worthy dresses tt costs <$20 which is like =O
hahah
we strolled ard heartland mall for awhile cos it was a lil early for lunch.
had lunch at new york new york!
had this beef potato-y thing which was not bad(i like the sauce!), this pizza tt i think is probly worse than any veggie pizza cos it's FULL of mushroom(including the kind tt jd gave to adeline tt time we went highschcanteen) and this BRATzz thing! hahaha actually i think the beef one is the best, then the BRATzz which is actually sausage(called brat-sth)wrapped in cheese and bacon(i removed all the wrappings and ate the sausagexD)
then gossip gossip and went to get free cotton candy! i like watching the guy making it but i dun really like to eat it so i gave mine to mar who gladly accepted! hahah
i was secretly hoping we would get to make one ourselvesxP
then we had desserts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
waffle with honey and ice cream is DAMN DAMN NICE! it's imba DELICIOUS!!
hahah the other one was mudpie with ice cream.
the mudpie was a lil dry, only the choc sauce and ice cream are nicexD
i jsust LOVE the waffle(+honey)
hahah and vanilla ice cream dripped with honey is quite nice too! super sweet! i like! hahahah

ok then we're supposed to go bowling, but we were distracted by this specs shop where we meng try the diff specs hahah(i like this one tt they say look v manly ):)
and this fashion.
we were having quite a high 'prom-dress' fever, looking for ideas for the troublesome dress haha.
aman saw this v sweet-looking dress then she, ly and i went to try one each.
i thought it looked not bad but i wasn't prepared to buy anything yet.

then we went bowling! i sucked at the first game, coming in 2nd last, ahead of tor! hahahah no names worked for herxP
then 2nd game i still quite sucked but was better, 3rd last this time hahaha.
during the 2 games, esp the 2nd one, we kept on changing the names to see which ones give us luck hahaha
and tsunamih gave me luck! ahahahha, none worked for mar and i think, tor.
mrs kim sure worked for ly, at least for awhile ahahah. lynn and val both dun need the name-changing luck la!(aman went home early):)
after the game, i was super tired, yawning away the whole way.
but we still walked ard abit, then went home after that.
spent alot of money, (price: $20 over)
had lots of fun, (price: a lunch at new york new york+bowling(:)
laughed alot, (price: a joke at the expense of one of the others XD)
ate alot (price: getting fat)
and spent lots of precious time with frens (priceless)
lol i'm still paying up for eating alot tt day ):
but i seem to eat more and more with each passing day ))):

shall go slp now and wake up early tml to move hse! lol

we got there and i immediately asked to see his photos when he was youngerxP
he was SUPER thin!! and alr quite dark haha!
and his specs are nerdier then jd's! lol not tt jd's are tt nerdy, just ACT nerdyxP
we saw ben in one of his photos haha like they were nvr in the same cls? LOL
anw, we started playing and obviously i wasn't tt lucky, even ben won a game, i din AT ALL. i'm really sai hahahah

then i lost like 5 bucks? but i din get to pay anything cos tw paid like 3 bucks for me and gavin refused to accept the rest -.-
then went for stroll-b4-lunch(2 bus stops long)and reached bjp where they had lunch and i stared into space while they ate (i ate alr)
walked ard some(gavin was still hungry O.O) but bought nth ha.
went back to tw's hse and played METAL SLUG!!! XDXDXD
oh my tt game totally reminds me of my childhood la!! i rmb i always go my cousin's hse to play tt and many other random games! it was so fun then!! XD
ok so all of us spent like an average of 10 credits per mission -.-
tt's like $5 per mission?!
siao.. which explains why i nvr played MS in arcade, much as i love it. haha
then watched seriously funny/er/random vids then off home we went.

wah i on the com to blog abt this book tt i read over the weekend at 1950 and it's only at 2208 tt i can finally get down to it.
too many stuff to clear.
btw, too all whom i've recommended this book, dun read further if you dun wanna get spoilered.

salem falls
is a damn nice book.
it's abt this male tcher who's teaching in a girls' sch and as the soccer team coach.
there's this girl, CM, on his team who has a crush on him.
he was so nice to her yet, she led her father (who's a priest) to believe tt she's having an affair with him.
and of cos, he totally flipped.
jack, the tcher, accepted the plea bargain under the advice of his defense attorney
which includes 8 mths of jail and then he's out and within 10 yrs, he'll have this record washed off.
he went in, suffered a great deal and got out 8 mths ltr.

he was just beginning to settle in in salem falls when he got involved in ANOTHER sex scandal. wad an unlucky guy.
apparently, all the folks of salem falls are against him cos they knew of his past, it's part of the plea bargain tt he reports to the police force of wherever he wanna settle down in abt his past record.
everything was super confusing, the way picoult wrote, such tt i nearly thought he did it too.
it's the investigation and the slow revelation of the truth tt's captivating abt this book.
i like, yet dun like the ending.
it's like she ended with jack being acquited but not exactly explaining to us all the little details tt made us doubtful abt him in the first place.
you've gotta figure it out for yourself.
so here goes,
there was semen on the girl's thigh tt cannot be explained, unless jack really did it to her.
then the DNA results for the semen is also doubtful and it was suggested in the book tt someone else who's related to jack have raped her instead.
BUT the big ugly truth is tt,
it was the FATHER who raped her!!
tt's DISGUSTING OMG.
tt's why jack din do it and the DNA results were not as expected cos the girl and the FATHER were related!
tt's like omg.
but this was not mentioned explicitly in the book at all.
tt's why it's best to reread the entire book after reading it once, so tt you can identify all the areas of doubt and go,'of COURSE!'

was watching the 10pm show just now.
the girl was supposed to be the obedient and smart one compared to her bro
but she hung out with bad company and even committed vandalism.
all becos she hated the fact tt no one cared for her, that everyone was so busy tt whenever she go home, it's to an empty house.
somehow, i think tt it's very similar to me.
only i dun turn bad (cos of the GREAT friends i have! xD)
but maybe, i become more easily irritated towards my parents and maybe desire company more.
just a random thought,
i was thinking tt if i have children next time,
will i be like a workaholic parent, taking care of their material well-being only,
or will i be more caring towards them?
probly the former, since i'm such a careless person and do things thoughtlessly.
sigh~ i'm not mature enough to be thinking of such things.

i think i'm v naive at times.
like i dun think deep enough, tt's probly why my GP sucks.
i'm always amazed at how pple manage to come up with such insightful thoughts.
i lack tt kind of ability, probly cos i'm superficial myself.
